Shah Rukh Khan, who is known for his serenity and calmness in public, once lost his cool during an IPL match at the Wankhede Stadium, sparking a major scandal.
In an IPL 2012 match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, SRK’s spat with the Mumbai Cricket Association became a major topic of debate. MCA said he was inebriated and assaulted his officials, according to sources. The incident occurred after the Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2012 final. After the triumph, SRK was allegedly in a celebratory mood when he spotted one of the stadium’s officials manhandling his daughter. According to reports, SRK behaved like any parent would and walked out to dispute with the guard. After that, the guy claimed that the actor had assaulted him, and the two got into an argument.
For the next five years, the MCA has prohibited SRK from accessing the Wankhede Stadium. According to reports, a social activist named Amit Maru urged that the Mumbai Police file a FIR against Khan for breaking the Juvenile Justice Act following the suspension. Activists also alleged that SRK uttered expletives in front of minors, which they said violated the Juvenile Justice Act. It took almost a decade for SRK to be cleared of the charges.
